Q. Mama, What's a Draugnav? Does it bite?
A. A Draugnav is what you print backwards when the administration won’t let you print it forwards! It is a last attempt to keep an independent newspaper on campus. It bites.

Q. Is it wrong to publish a Draudnav?
A. Yes, It is conduct unbecoming a student.

Q. Why?
A. Because it is unbecoming a student, that’s why?

Q. So what happens?
A. So for that, you get suspended!

NOW WE ASK YOU:
IS THIS THE WAY TO BRING UP CHILDREN?

Only if you believe that suspensions are necessary consequences of Vanguard’s unfettered expression.

Only if you believe that a resistance publication to the banning of Vanguard should be met with suspension of editors.
BUT WHO BEIEVES THAT??? DO YOU???

We think you believe the opposite.
We think you believe in a free and uncensored campus paper.
We think you oppose the suspensions of students for this kind …kind of “unbecoming” conduct.
AND WE THINK YOU’LL FIGHT

Become one of the staff of a thousand to publish an independent newspaper.

Organize petitions in our classes demanding reinstatements of editors and an end to censorship.
